Let it Snow!!!

So here is Brayden all bundled up in serious winter attire...Last week we got hit hard with a huge snowstorm, Dad was out shovelin' all of the snow. Like Father like son, Brayden wanted to join in. The only problem was he wasn't quite sure of the thick gloves Mom put on him. It just made him frustrated that he couldn't grip the handle of his shovel just right... I think all of his snow gear just got his way of helping Dad, a few more storms and he'll get used to it....

Santa came early....

Oh how this present makes me grin! Santa stopped by the Beyers early this year and brought a new super comfy sofa...Didn't he pick a good one?? :) This is one of my favorite styles from Lee Industries located in North Carolina. A while back I had the great opportunity to go and see this amazing factory, how this incredible piece of furniture is made, (all by hand by-the-way ), and meet all the wonderful people there. This sofa will last me forever, and the best part...It is slipcovered, so easy to dry clean and a few years down the road I can order a new slipcover! I love that I have that option...

Lee has been featured in a few of the greatest magazines in my opinion, Cottage Living, House Beautiful and Country Living. Each magazine does a photo shoot which features a small sampling of their fabulous furniture pieces. They also have a user friendly website that allows you to browse through there entire line of sofas, chairs, ottomans, and beds. Also~with there fabrics pictured online you may request swatches to be sent directly to your home, so the possibilities are endless with custom upholstery.... If you see anything that peeks your interest, I am happy to give you additional info... :)

Ho, Ho, HO!!!!

We are so excited for Christmas this year! Sharing the joy with Brayden has been so much fun. This morning Brady and I took Brayden to what will be our family tradition every year....Breakfast with Santa!!!! We had a ball with all the activities Millennial Falls (a local reception center) put on for all the kiddos. They had face painting, elves that made any kind of balloon animal you wanted (Brayden I think got 3 or 4), a yummy breakfast, candy, and of course, one-on-one time with Santa. Santa even handed out a fun goodie bag filled with stickers, Christmas tree suckers, little toys, and fuzzy reindeer ears. This was by far the way to go, no more standing in crazy Mall lines to get 2 seconds with Santa and then paying $20 to get a picture of your child freaking out!! :) They did such a good job and Santa.... The real deal! Darling!

Brady and Brayden even got special treatment, right when Santa came into the room, he was Ho, Ho, Hoing and giving high-fives, all the kids were going crazy.... But then we heard Santa say..."Where is Brayden and Brady Beyer?" oh boy, Brayden was the first child to see Santa and help him with some fun presents, and Brady, he got to be Santa's Rudolph blinking nose and all!!! It was pretty funny, Brayden was just wide eyed the entire time and kept pointing at Santa, patting his chest (really saying come here Santa) Anyway~ It was a great morning, very well put together, we had a great Family time!!! and to top it all off.... It was snowing so hard, it was a beautiful backdrop!

Pointing at Santa, so excited to sit on his lap.... But then....

Wiggily Brayden,

Wasn't quite sure....

Laughing, and freakin' out....

Finally, Mom had to sit on Santa's lap....
