New Find . . .

This great chair is my latest find. It has the perfect amount of distressing and I added just a touch of green paint to it. Mixing old items with the new adds more interest. I just could not pass this chair by. Abode was the previous home of this old goodie, and I am looking forward to their first outdoor market of the season on Saturday! I'll see you there!!

Squeaky Clean!!

We have so much fun when it's bath time- Just look at that face! Brayden loves the water, getting his head washed and massaged is a real treat for him. He wants the water tap running the entire time he is in the sink so that he can splash Mommy. It is amazing he can still even fit in our sink.
But not for long . . .

Messy Boy!

Brayden had so much fun at dinner, or should I say with dinner. This was his first spaghetti and meatball dinner and he LOVED IT! He was so tired by the end of his meal, he could barley keep his eyes open when I tried to clean him up. He fell asleep as he was lifting his cup for a drink! He's the cutest messy boy I've ever seen!!

Cozy Corner

This is my very favorite place to curl up with a good book and read. This chair is sooo comfy, and it's hard not to doze off in this room!

Ooo La La Paris

I have always dreamed of going to Paris.
Looking at these vintage cards makes me smile.
A girl can always dream right, after-all don't dreams come true?

My Obsession

No one can have too many glass jars, that's my motto. As you can see I have quite a few of them myself and cannot seem to resist a new one that comes my way. They are great for displaying lots of items. Some of my favorites include anywhere from clothes pins for the laundry room, soaps, decorative paper, and of course colorful candy. Let your imagination run wild, the possibilites are endless . . .

Speaking of Vintage,

This is my Granny in the 60's she is in the white dress. She would dance with my great Aunt and do the "jig". I love this picture it is one of my very favorites of my Gran. ANd believe it or not she is still stylin'. Glamorous Gran!!

Something good is bound to happen when you plant . . .

Spring has sprung and it is a wonderful time of year. Planting something beautiful and watching it grow is in some way therapeutic for me. I love going to nurseries, walking in the warm sunshine, picking out fresh blooms and enjoying all that Spring has to offer.

Happy Planting!
