Deer Valley....

All the girls got the opportunity to spend a fabulous night in gorgeous Deer Valley. Our talented designer friend Leslie took on this massive job of assisting in the building of this incredible house/duplex and I have to say it was truly, truly amazing!! She is so creative and it seems like she excels in every project that she does but this one, is at the top... Way to go Les :) So we got to have a "girlie" girl night and the owner was gracious enough to let us stay the night, and I don't know about everyone else but it felt like I was 16 again, at a good old fashioned sleepover, (with all the perks)including spa pedicures, (thank you B-daisy Salon :) ) laughing, ordering in yummy food, chocolate, treats, lots and lots of laughter, playing games, oh and did I mention chocolate? We also watched Mama-Mia, and as a special treat SNL was on and Justin Timberlake stole the show... and we laughed some more!!

All in all we got to select our own bedrooms which included steam showers, heated tile floor and carpet!!! (this was a treat I don't get very often) It was incredible, we were just surrounded by the most stunning views both inside and out!! I could go on and on...

A big thank you to Brittany and Stacey for your spa skills...Brooke and Denise for putting this fun night all together...And Joe and Angie for allowing us to stay....
I hope that I will be fortunate enough to return there again soon..
A fun girls Vacation close to home....
Thanks Girls for making the night a memorable one!!
Love ya ALL!!!!

My little Man!!

So the mushy, emotional Mommy has come out in me. I know it would only take a matter of time before I displayed my thoughts and emotions for all to see... But I couldn't help myself. The other night Brady and I were putting Brayden to bed. Our usual routine, we read a story, play for a short while, family hugs and good nights, then off to bed. Long story short-I love and look forward to doing these few small simple things every night. Our little guy is tremendously loved and doing this same thing every night brings our family bond closer. I love it.

So when Brayden had fallen asleep, the emotion came... I needed to thank my Father in Heaven for this most precious gift, this perfect little boy I held so dear in my arms. Looking at his angelic face and holding onto his chubby little hand, I felt as if my heart would explode with gratitude. I am grateful for everything that his is and someday will be. He is my ultimate joy, my life, my beautiful son... With tears streaming down my face, and with a full heart. I kissed my baby goodnight and placed him in his crib... I cannot wait to see him grow and learn new things, but for the time being, I will soak up every moment that I can with him...

I will do a little less with the world and more with my little guy... Mommy Loves you Bubba!!

Getting ready to pass out the candy....

Braydens' cute little princess...Addy and pretty Snow White Cheree

This year was so much fun with Brayden. He is old enough now that he somewhat gets what's going on with the whole dressing up Halloween thing. As you can see he was a giraffe, he put up a little bit of a fuss when we had to get him dressed for the big night...He kept pulling at his costume because it was fuzzy, and the hat....he was not quite sure about it, but once we saw the other kids and dove into the candy the hat was soon forgotton. Brayden ate more than his fair share of goodies that night. (Mom let him splurge... Come on it's Halloween :) ) I think he enjoyed passing out the candy to the other kids more than anything... It was so cute, he would take one piece of candy from the big bowl and drop it in the kids' bags one at a time.... it was so funny...He is such a smarty pants!! We cannot wait for all the fun holidays to start... Isn't it amazing that kids just make everything so much more fun ?!!
