SUNDANCE SWAG BAG.....

Okay, Brady gets major brownie points for this one!! So as most everyone knows the Sundance Film Festival is going on in Park City Utah. One of Brady's clients The Metropolitan Restaurant was asked to cater a private party for Paris Hilton, and guests. (by the way if you have not eaten at the Metropolitan, it is one of the best establishments in SLC!) The party was held at a private residence in PC, and the owner of Metro asked Brad if he wanted to help with the party. Of course he said "Yes!" He said it was pretty cool, lots of NFL players, directors and their wives, and some celebs...Dinner was supposed to be served at 8:oopm sharp, but timely Paris didn't show up until 9:30, go figure :)! Anyway, it was a long night for him, BUT.... Are you ready, one of the guests gave Brady his fancy Swag Bag ('cause he didn't want it, to much free stuff I guess :) )

So let me tell you these bags are incredible, and this was just a small one too. These celebs are so, SO spoiled and they get all of this fancy, expensive FREE STUFF!! After opening the bag and looking through it made me think, why don't these people donate all the money that goes into this stuff to charity, I don't know, I even felt a little guilty getting all this stuff for free, but it was fun :) I am sure it will never happen again, SO... This bag was filled with...

~A knitted KATE SPADE beanie that says Hawaii or Bust with darling pom poms

~Organic lavender dish soap, laundry detergent, linen spray, room spray, and more...
check out their site http://www.ecos.com/ everything is earth friendly ,petroleum free, and all natural product .

~Some DARLING handmade stationary, the box it came in was super cute

~A organic cotton T-shirt

~Baby beanie from Baby your Baby :)

~Some way cute crystal earrings by a company made here in Alpine, UT Tres Jolie Design, the packing on this baby was oh so cute!!!

~A huge jar of refining body salt peel by Babor, so yummy

~A skin care kit by Dr. Hauschka (apparently a famous dermatologist in Germany)
~Botanical Face Soap and moisturizer
~Mineral makeup, an entire face sampler from Pixi Petra, NICE
~A SIGG water bottle

~Massage oil and lip serum

and some other little stuff... Good job Brady :)!!! SCORE!!!

It blows me away that this kind of stuff is so common to them, and they go to function after function receiving these bags....I am so glad someone shared the love, and gave to my hard workin' hubby :) Thanks Babe...

Oh, and just for fun this is was the menu for the party....

Super Fun!!!

More Treasures....

So these little treasures have found a great home! I have been needing a bedside table for my side of the bed. This small table is the perfect shade of green with a little bit of glaze over the top, and it has great storage for holding my magazines and yes...my yarn for crocheting(grandma..I know :) ) best of all, it came from one of my favorite consignment stores...Emilejayne! If you have not visited this darling shop it is a must stop!!
And~the second table is the steal of the year...I found this sweetie on KSL.com. The picture was deceiving, you couldn't really tell what color, or size it was. But, I had to check it out...and the best part...you ready? $10 for this darling thing! I am currently using it as a coffee table it's a good size, has such fun legs, and is a bright red color. It did need a little love, so I just went over it with a dark glaze. They are both great tables, I am so happy to welcome them to my furniture collection! :)

The Best Gift....

....was spending this Christmas with our precious little one Brayden. He is old enough now to be able to sort of grasp the entire concept of Christmas. He is such a blessing not only in our lives but our families lives as well. He has brought us tremendous joy with countless smiles and laughter... Brayden was definitely spoiled not only with love but with presents that go, go, go!!!

Santa brought Brayden a shiny new blue bike...

TRACTOR!!!! Grampa and Grandma got Brayden this darling big boy Ford Tractor, cast iron, big wheels, sparkling red... What a treasure, this is something that will be in our family forever, so special....We even caught him taking a rag and wiping the tractor down, keeping it clean...Is that the Beyer gene or what?! :)

Those lips are just goin'...doing motor sound effects...

Grammy and Grampa "Uh"got him his very own weed eater, Brayden loves to watch Dad in the summertime do the yardwork, now he has one of his very own...This one makes it's own motor sounds and has chopped grass spinning in the bottom! So cute!! It even came with it's own safety goggles...He goes around the house weed wackin' everything...

And..Brayden was so excited to see Grampa Uh and Grammy bring him his own 4 wheeler!!! WOW! This one goes and goes (we'll just see how long the battery lasts :) ) He drives this thing everywhere, it's funny because he will run into things and still have the wheeler wheels just spinning in place, what a fun and special gift!!

Eatin' yummy food

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to our families for how grateful we are for you all and are so blessed to be able to spend Christmas with you all...

We love you so, so much!!! And are looking forward to a wonderful New Year....

Let it Snow!!!

So here is Brayden all bundled up in serious winter attire...Last week we got hit hard with a huge snowstorm, Dad was out shovelin' all of the snow. Like Father like son, Brayden wanted to join in. The only problem was he wasn't quite sure of the thick gloves Mom put on him. It just made him frustrated that he couldn't grip the handle of his shovel just right... I think all of his snow gear just got his way of helping Dad, a few more storms and he'll get used to it....

Santa came early....

Oh how this present makes me grin! Santa stopped by the Beyers early this year and brought a new super comfy sofa...Didn't he pick a good one?? :) This is one of my favorite styles from Lee Industries located in North Carolina. A while back I had the great opportunity to go and see this amazing factory, how this incredible piece of furniture is made, (all by hand by-the-way ), and meet all the wonderful people there. This sofa will last me forever, and the best part...It is slipcovered, so easy to dry clean and a few years down the road I can order a new slipcover! I love that I have that option...

Lee has been featured in a few of the greatest magazines in my opinion, Cottage Living, House Beautiful and Country Living. Each magazine does a photo shoot which features a small sampling of their fabulous furniture pieces. They also have a user friendly website that allows you to browse through there entire line of sofas, chairs, ottomans, and beds. Also~with there fabrics pictured online you may request swatches to be sent directly to your home, so the possibilities are endless with custom upholstery.... If you see anything that peeks your interest, I am happy to give you additional info... :)

Ho, Ho, HO!!!!

We are so excited for Christmas this year! Sharing the joy with Brayden has been so much fun. This morning Brady and I took Brayden to what will be our family tradition every year....Breakfast with Santa!!!! We had a ball with all the activities Millennial Falls (a local reception center) put on for all the kiddos. They had face painting, elves that made any kind of balloon animal you wanted (Brayden I think got 3 or 4), a yummy breakfast, candy, and of course, one-on-one time with Santa. Santa even handed out a fun goodie bag filled with stickers, Christmas tree suckers, little toys, and fuzzy reindeer ears. This was by far the way to go, no more standing in crazy Mall lines to get 2 seconds with Santa and then paying $20 to get a picture of your child freaking out!! :) They did such a good job and Santa.... The real deal! Darling!

Brady and Brayden even got special treatment, right when Santa came into the room, he was Ho, Ho, Hoing and giving high-fives, all the kids were going crazy.... But then we heard Santa say..."Where is Brayden and Brady Beyer?" oh boy, Brayden was the first child to see Santa and help him with some fun presents, and Brady, he got to be Santa's Rudolph blinking nose and all!!! It was pretty funny, Brayden was just wide eyed the entire time and kept pointing at Santa, patting his chest (really saying come here Santa) Anyway~ It was a great morning, very well put together, we had a great Family time!!! and to top it all off.... It was snowing so hard, it was a beautiful backdrop!

Pointing at Santa, so excited to sit on his lap.... But then....

Wiggily Brayden,

Wasn't quite sure....

Laughing, and freakin' out....

Finally, Mom had to sit on Santa's lap....
